A Pantheon of Elder Gods
H.P Lovecraft designed a complex cosmological framework of elder gods, strange mutations, mind shattering truths, and abhorrent monsters. While Lovecraft’s work is seminal reading for many cosmic horror fans, his work is problematic. We decided to build a small pantheon of new elder gods to fit with any setting that still feel like cosmic threats akin to anything Lovecraft created without the problematic aspects.
And, of course, evil gods need horrible minions to fight and cults to take down. Each god has a cultist table for their followers to adopt and use against your players and monsters to terrify them.
